Of course you do. GSi's are 3dr so the doors are longer. Vans use 4dr front doors so are shorter

its possibly the phase 2 skirts your thinking about. They would sit under any doors whether it be 3dr / 5dr / Estate

Re: Ronnie's new runaround - Project VAN!

tempted by those skirts astra16v2004! will have to let you know

i thought i'd killed the van, been driving it over the weekend and it started sounding like it lost all its oil, and lost its umph, and the turbo wasnt wistleing! sounded like a realllly bad ford push rod! could hear it over the road noise at 70mph, and thats saying something in a van lol

but after some investicating it turns out it was the manifold blowing, investicting further and the manifold was about to fall off lmao

two nuts were compleatly two more were about to fall off and the others wernt exactly tight lmao!

all tightened up and fixed now! ha ha woops!

and got new numberplates today too!

    but cameras broken

just totally palin and standard! the other ones were grotty and old

gave it a full vallet at work as will be leaving tomorrow so wont get another chance!

broken camera again it does look nice and clean i promise lol

Re: Ronnie's new runaround - Project VAN!

well the van was truely lowered yesterday!

and it still didnt even scrape one bit lol

was due to having my toolbox and tools in it

but actually loading my tools in the van made the redundancy seem that bit more offical and finally hit home

like your gonna have a hard time finding work with a comprehensive toolbox like that, i pull foreighners (not the polish kind) all the time and my tools are a right mess.

Re: Ronnie's new runaround - Project VAN!

yea bodyshops downsizing as its quiet as ****, we were just standing around in the workshop all day! had had my 3 weeks notice! didnt seem so real untill i was actually loading my box into the van!

had been there 7 years today! the week after i left school i started working there washing cars! never had another job before, spent a third of my life there, gonna seem so strange not going! spent all my adult life growning up working in there!

i had already said to my boss that i wasnt happy being a pannel beater anymore and wanted to get into the motorsport kind of things, so that was one of the reasons for me being chose for redunancy! think he was as gutted seeing me go as i was leaving!

had the talk from all the lads and from my boss bout how they'd seen how much i'd grown up and how skilled i'd become! 7 years is a bloody long time!

still might just of been the shove to bigger and better things i needed!
