Not tempted with some V6 brakes on the front?
Teeth? LUXURY! When I was a child we ate by putting rocks in our mouth and jumping up and down.

i had a van, i really liked my van but it had a rusty shell, i found another solid shell and put all my van's parts onto the soild shell! a reshell!

i then upgraded my engine from a 1.7D to a 1.7TD, an engine conversion!

whats different to anything anyones done on here before?

You didn't though, you cannot just get up one morning and swap your plates to another car!

i didnt! i changed everything over to the good shell, interior, dash, clocks, suspension, brakes, doors, windows, exhaust!

and engine, but then i though i'd upgrade to a TD engine so put that in instead! insurance has been informed!

Jack, they're fantastic engines dude. Slow as you like but will do incredibly high mileages no bother at all. In fact one of the most reliable Vauxhall diesel engines you'll ever find.

*I think swapping number plates over is asking for trouble though.
    Keeping it real since 1964.

its not been just a case of swapping the number plates over! check my log book, vin plates, engine codes and chassis numbers! and my insurance, all line up! chassis numbers have been changed on the log book in accordence of proving the rusty shell has been scrapped/crushed, which i have! engine conversion has been varified by insurance, no cuertificate needed as the engine CC or fuel type has not increased!

Every single one I've ever seen has been blowing out of the dipstick.

What Ronnie has done is perfectly legal, I've done it myself.

my 182k 1.7d ran sweet as a nut, admidibly its was prob the slowest car ive ever had, but really did run on fresh air!

this 1.7TD lump thats in there now has 160k and is quiet as a mouse!

    This and that
I love the way people are getting so uptight about this!
Personally I cant see any problem with what you've done, Ive known people do it over the years with Minis and the like and to be honest, Id probably do it myself!

    Nice van btw
