| the rear suspension point lined up with the vectra. the bar that runs across to top need shortening by about half an inch to mount in the vectra mounting point's. there's 2 other mouting point's that need fabricating but they'll get done by the person who welds in the tunnel as i can't weld |

| Do you want a phase in your c20let? Who are the gearbox?
This is a complicated project, and I very surprise, my father have a 1.8 and I never mind a rear wheel drive.
Sorry for my expresions, Iґm spanish and me English are very poor

I was looking at the pictures thinking similar, if he used mk3 asrta or cav/cally uprights instead of the vectra ones he might be able to go over the gearbox, but to do would mean moving the engine back forward again I suspect. |

| not really a 500 vectra (2001 x plate sri)
I don't want to move the engine forward as i don't want it in front of the wheel's
it's been easy going so far. the hardest part i'm going to have is the steering but it'll all work out. just waiting on the sbd mounting kit andgearbox mount and making up templates so can make up the tunnel then off to get welded |

| Had a sad moment last week. finally got rid of my old turbo RIP
[IMG] [IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
Had to move the car from the garage it was in to the back of my friends house so started to get some work done on it. Spent most of the day measuring and working out exactly where the engine is going to sit. made some random mounts. There's no where to mount the engine easily and not too sure on doing it this way but i'll have to have another think at the weekend The white section is going to get welded to the subframe then mount the engine on top of them using land rover rubbers mounts.
Not straight
[IMG] [IMG]
Bit worried about turbo clearance on this side
[IMG] [/IMG]
Heads fouling the master cly/brake servo. Hopefully i can get around that by fitting a 1.8 servo as there a bit thinner
[IMG] [/IMG]
[IMG] [/IMG]
When i got home this was waiting for me Going to be fitting a GT30 with external wastegate
