| Fow16v *Corsa Gsi* C20xe Project Since my last corsa which i got rid of before christmas ive had a few cars but been on the look out for another corsa, so looking through ebay and a mint looking totally standard gsi came up with 2 owners fsh and 60k on the clock. so i just had to have it, i havent got any major plans for it at the moment but as and when money becomes avalible im hoping to make some subtle changes.
So when i picked it up it needed a good clean and polish to make it my own ,
after a good 6 hours cleaning it looked like this.
Before i bought the car the boot and passenger side had been sprayed due to thieving scum wanting it and lacquer peeling, not the best job tho as it looks slightly darker, hopfully i will get this sorted sometime.
First thing it needed was a new driver seat as it had been worn to holes by a fat man lol, so looking through corsa sport found someone selling 2 for £10 bargin, 200miles later the seats where changed, still not perfect but 100 times better.
Then i thought it was in need for some floor scrapping so i got in contact with macturbo (top bloke) who supplied me with some 60mm springs for a bargin price.
so this is what it looks like now after slamming.
Future plans:
Im going to be a bit different engine wise and leave it with the x16xe
Looking for some rims, possibly speedlines, cesaros or multispokes
90mm rear drop
Smoked side repeaters
DIY smoked headlights (this weekend?)
Tint windows (light front, Dark rear)
Fit my oval exhaust
Possibly some sa rear lights.
Not in any particular order on these things but will be updating as and when they happen, hopefully it will look sweet when its done

| Tut tut look whee you've parked the car
I personally wouldn't tint it but then it's not my car. Looks tidy enough though.
Looking forward to seeing the DIY lenses. |

| Just a small update, painted my new brakes up on the weekend ready to go on when my pads arrive. My disks and pads are so thin they are almost crumbling not good lol, anyway they are 256mm cav sri calipers with grooved disks and black diamond pads. |

| Small update on the tinted lights, went out and bought a heay gun so decided to have a go, got the lights out and started heating away, the first light the passenger one was a replacement depo light and came apart lovely, the other one however is the valeo original light and decided that the glass would just chip and not come apart, so i left that one rather than break it, currently waiting for another depo one so i can take it apart and tint that instead, anywayz here are the photos of progress so far, very pleased with the result.
no driving tonight!
before
after
sorry for the ****e quality will get better photos when complete. |
