Yes i had a call from Jasonwalker off here over the same thing, he was pulled as it was npc checked and wasnt on there, flux told him sometimes they dont get all the cars put on.. He wasnt impressed.

lol @ getting pulled due to FLUX been there...twice

as for 5th ive done the same to mine giving it beans and missing it but ramming it in fury lmao, which turned out to be a ****ed selecter fork on 5th, i can get it but it has to be forced right up and then over to select, im still waitning on a mate so i can go and pick up my spare from storage.

if you take the plate off in the passenger wheelarch you will see 5th and its selector, chanches are one of the piss weak supports on the fork have broken, real easy to check.

Is it fixable Gaz, or is it easier to replace the box itself? I can get 5th but I've gotta be really gentle lmao

yeah theres an alloy mount that bolts to the casing and the fork is part of it, the part of the fork that swivels (the hinge bit) usually breaks leaving the fork a bit floppy which is why you can get fith but have to fiddle, i had it happen on an F16 too but scrapped it without taking pics

ill be doing mine this weekend so i hope its doable, it definately looked pretty easy to come apart when i had a look.

I'm sure insurers have a legal responsibility to update the insurance database within a set time period or they face a fine, and if cought out 3 times lose their license to sell insurance. Its why CIS stopped issuing manual cover notes through their agents as the update process was something like 3-4wks which in the FSA's eyes was not good enough.

Also, Dave I'm sure there was someone on here the other day selling an F20 with ATB fitted for around £350, but can'r find it anywhere!

Simps; the copper told me they could face a fine of £25k! I'm gonna speak to them when I get chance! That diff was on PNG; but it was collected only and the chap was based in South London, lol

Finally got my finger out and got some new bits ordered today:

Equal Length Shaft
Brand New Front Brake Calipers
Replacement Gearbox
Quaiffe LSD (inc bearings, seals etc)

Brake calipers came from www.autovaux.com and were fitted on Sunday.

JamieF finally got down and dirty with my car and welded my exhaust up around the flexi where it was blowing slightly




Just sat waiting for my gearbox/diff/gaskets etc to arrive where I can hopefully get them fitted at the weekend (well I say me, I mean Jamie lmao )
