FPE is actually a lad that does engine work. he built the mk4 van LET thats in the pics, and did all the metal work/turbo fitting on wazpazs naughty cavalier. The flywheel is awesome, makes a massive difference. I'd never do a clutch without going lighter in future.

Well, here is my update. I managed to part-ex my old wheels for these lovely softstars

As mentioned on a previous post the little corsa managed to pull a 14.7 at York dragway. I'm well chuffed with that as it's quicker than I thought it'd do. I think with practice I should be able to hit a 14.5 with no further modifications.

The only downside to constant abuse of a car that's spent the last few months parked up is that things break. On the way home the hangers fell off the backbox,

This meant being up early the next weekend to get it sorted.

Some of you with keen eyes will notice the new colour of the rear bumper.

The bumpers and arches were lovingly painted by a mate in a local bodyshop, in Benns special colour

The front bumper then got the edition of a corsa gsi front splitter to bring it down abit. These pictures were taken the day before Trax. The corsa behind is a neighbours car, and how my little 'club' started off

The car did its first track session at Trax, and lapped it up

It got there and back with no faults. Now I know we've got some reliability, the games can really being

looks good dave, only thing IMHO looks wrong is the corsa splitter thing. looks a little disjointed.

the splitter looks alot better in real life, pics are just taken on a phone so it doesn't do it any justice. I cba trying to find a standard one, and at least that'll go some way to push any water out of the way should the same situation arise as it did in January

lookin sweet, although agree about the splitter... a laguna one would be more subtle.. nothing at all would be better imo.

As has been said, the splitter lets the car down. I had a mince over it at Trax and the splitter stuck out like a sore thumb. Apart from that, its smart.

glad everyone loves the splitter

Car'll be changing it looks again over winter so I wouldn't worry about it. besides, with my driving the splitter'll end up in a gutter/gravel trap long before you get to see the car again

Yes mate, once the speedo was all wired in the eps turns off over 30mph, and below 30mph its like having one of those girl buttons on a fiat punto

HAHA i'd like to tell you that my girlfriend says it should be called "the hardcore death&suicide button", i think it should be called the "initiate understeer drift on a roundabout" button
