| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club Never did mine mate as I don't have a front cage but I know what you do
Drill out the spot welds on either side of the door
Cut each bar into 2
Get a stanley knife down the back of each bar to cut the sealant away from the door panel
Remove
If you go on Corsasport into projects there is a chap on there called 'Bendy'. He has a rallycar and has done that, with good pics

Cut out dashboard weighed c. 4-5kg so another good bit of weight saving there.
Plan on making some custom door panels up next month to hide the cut-out doors, and hopefully add a 'touch' of noise-reduction |
got pic's of the half dash yet? |

to be fair though all the gubbings that get ditched with the matrix come in at quite a bit more than 2kgs. |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club Just read this quote from one of my linkbacks " behold here I got nothing to slice loaf of sheet steel inside"
not quite sure what it means. Bulgarian translation.... lol
Heater matrix is staying. There's still a few more bits I can cut off yet |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club from what I've read it's 1ltr=1kg. Think the XE matrix holds maybe 2litres at most, so that's still only 2kg. So heater matrix and water = 4kg. I'd have 4kg worth of clothes/gloves/hats/scarfs if I removed it |
