Also looking at the pic of it fitted looks like it is 180degrees out as the mount isnt symetrical. the side with the radiused ends should be pointing down but appears they are facing the bodyshell |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club true but i like to be able to remove the mount and leave the bodymount in place as it makes lining everything up again easier.

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club How is it upside down Pic to explain? In my picture the mount is held up against the old one in EXACTLY the same position as it came off There's no way I'd have got the bolts lined up if that mount had been fully tightened up before fitting on the car.
Chris; if it really matters that much; put some instructions in the box
Fitted my 2nd solid engine mount last night. My old mount was snapped!
You can't really see, but it's the bottom rubber mount that was knacked.
There are only 3 words to describe how good solid mounts are; JESUS ****ING CHRIST! They are awesome! The car feels sooo more poised, precise and stuck to the road. I actually scared myself in the car for the first time tonight It's ****ing awesome!

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club told ya, real transformation to the whole feel.
the gearbox mount just needs spinning through 180deg and possibly the other bolthole needs to be used iirc |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club Wonder where I could source some seperatly, I seen olly doing this and thought it was ALOT easier than making rear turrets up for coilovers and give some adjustment on the rear. |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club How many points do you want? The main one being the name FK... I haven't seen anyone running this set up, but a spring on damper will always handle bumps and load better than a remote spring. |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club The only thing 'FK' about it is the adjusting cup; which is just made from metal. lol I can't see how that bears any resemblance on the quality of the rest of it? |

I can adjust my rear to sit high in the air or low to the deck. Also have the plesentry of having a coil spring wrapped round a damper |

| Re: Vauxhall Corsa 2.0 XE Club I will have the same adjustment, BUT:
I'm not cutting apart the inside of the car - the welding required is nothing like cutting out and turretting the rear
I haven't paid Ј250 (ish) for a pair of rear coilovers
I don't have to worry about it catching the tyre/arch |
