aaah yeah seats, of course !! i had an idea for a project not long ago involving seats and kevlar/grp, uh ohh ... how heavy are the standard seats ??
i take it they're about 15 kilos then ?

I've got an aftermarket bucket seat in there, but its on the standard subframe, and then mounted on a further metal bracket

Did you ever get a power run done?

Got a power run done; made 159.1bhp with slightly above average torque. The torque curve was huge, and kept going alot more than it should (due to the cams I assume). I'll be truly honest; I was hoping for 165-170; but as the car is running no superchip/unichip to bring the ignition forward to help the cams it's probably not performing aswell as it could be with the setup

Regardless, I'm bored of it already. So I'm very actively looking for some jenvey throttle bodies with aftermarket management. I miss the noise they gave Regretting selling the astra?? maybeee..

Well, over the past couple of days I've had the ECU light coming on - "Co Potentiometer - Voltage High". I know this is most likely to be the airflow meter, but I did what any self-respecting XE owner would do to cure the fault once and for all; throw away all the motronic **** and get MBE with some Throttle Bodies

The kit I went for was the SBD TP208 kit It arrived earlier in the week (Massive thanks to JamieF ) and I started fitting it yesterday evening.

I was thinking that myself last night I reckon it might be more like 5-6kilo - the standard inlet is really heavy, then also all the wiring loom, ECU etc
