So i thought i may as well update this, if only for my own gratification lol.
The indiglo dials had been faulty for some time now and reading the clocks during the dark hours was proving rather interesting to say the least. With the plamas stuck over the originals all you could see was a faint glow and the needles. Thankfully i know where the needle sits at certain speeds. Any how, i wanted this sorted. Having worked out that the control box was faulty, a bit of googleing and i came across a dude in America that sold a similar replacement part. Part purchased and arrived within five days...... awesome service.
I didn't take many pics, one because its boring and two, it was cold and wanted to get back in and hug the radiator lol

Initial illumination..... darkness would have been better but i'm buggered if i'm reversing the job for a darkness pic lol
Not mega cold but certainly chilly
And afterwards, again a night time pic would be better...... and achievable.
