what a shame! i just sold my 5 door astra sri. it was 1.4 on log book with a healthy 57k 2liter 8v sri engine. with a full bottom half re-spray 1 year ago it was pretty much mint. it also had rear electric windows sunroof and clifford alarm. i had it advertised for 4 weeks and no1 wanted it. it was all polish and pakis that came to look at it and didnt want to pay the £550 i wanted. regardless of the £850 i spend in the past year on it. it went for £425 in the end

Re: Project Phoenix

Wow, a years gone and no up date. Well Today Dan (Big thanks again fella) and I removed and engine from a shonky old Calibra in antisipation to dropping it into ppp. Most bits have been sourced with only a few remaining items required to save me time in the long run. Hopefully soon ppp will be a fully fledged 2litre

Re: Project Phoenix

I guess it would help to take some. None taken during engine out mincing session but i'm sure there will be during the actual swap over. It seems the original pics have expired
