| shed of a corsa JUNE 21st 2007
anyway i brought last year as a project car when i had the zaffy, originally it was going to be pink anyways plans have changed abit...
this is her as i brought her with steelies on and it looked like this...
so after a new set of wheels, decided on astra sxi ones, and they were diamond cut, polished with anthracite inserts (courtesy of lepsons),then a wheel bearing shattering last month and my wheel falling off, and then one shattering again last week, i decided to spend four hours of my time polishing it with some paint restorer and some super-dooper polish, not to mention a damn good hoover out and realised there was actually carpet under there!
anyway, here she is now!
have been informed that i need shocks for it to pass the MOT, so next on the list is a body kit and lowering springs and shocks! 27th June 2007
ok so the next mod arrived this morning, was like a kid with a new toy, just had to go fit them!
so before...
and after....
ok so not a drastic difference, just a small task out of the way, and i done it all by myself
so colour codes handles will be done later this week, and me and AndyB are going to pick my kit up saturday!
watch this space!
Wednesday 18th July
Ok so the modding continues....
I am now in possesion of one reiger kit (big thanks andy for driving down there to pick it up with me and i managed to get an offer of a date from the lad i brought it off! )
thought i had it all sorted til i managed to get my hands on a gsi kit for an absolute bargain price, so have decided that gsi kit wins hands down and that means i can lower it 60 mil instead of 40!
so road trip sunday morning to go pick it up!
am currently trying to decide on shocks and springs atm so once thats sorted, the kit will be fitted!
anyway meanwhile i have been buying her a couple of treats that i think would set her off nicely when the kit is fitted.....
smoked headlights..
colour coded handles...
rear smoked lights...
and a black debadged grill and two sets of number plates |

| Seems odd you 2 wheel bearings fail so catastrophically too. I like the wheels, it'll look nice lowered. |

| well the first one might have been going for a while but i kinda ignored the noise and one day after possibly ragging it around some country roads it made really bad noise and as i drove it to my mates to get it checked, i went round a corner into the industrial estate and it just kinda clonked and went.
wheels are going to be re-done soon as they are corroding, so i'm thinking of getting darker inserts but deffo going to keep polished faces. |

| well slight problem with the gsi kit....the front bumper isnt a gsi but on a good note i like it and am happy with it, i suppose if i put the gsi kit on it would be like a gsi replica, which isnt what i am aiming for. |

| So long as you arent aiming for a Pink one topped with Playboy stickers you cant go wrong!
GSi's look awesome anyway, so the kit is a wise choice! |

| Right, tonight my mate decided to fit my rear lights and front lights for me on the spur of the moment, he is not techincally minded and i sat biting my nails......
after knocking on all the neighbours doors to find a 8 mil spanner(the guy is a spanner himself) he sets off...
hmm sorted.....i hope *waits for them to fall out*
then he starts the fronts...
dont think its meant to sit like this...
at least one is done right i suppose... |
