| Bargain (I hope). Great littele cars even from std. You need to add a decent suspension kit though to really appreciate what Novas are about.
There was an even more faded & rusted one like that on ebay last week. It was in good mechanical condition but the outside was totally abandonned. Keep at it. That would make a great base to restore it to standard.

| Used tetrosoyl rubbing compound on the paint (carefully) then auto glym paint renovator (pink label) then a couple of goings over with Auto glym polish (red label).
As for it being a bargain...the amount of times its saved my arse when Ive needed a car due to my calibra turbo being in the garage etc it was werll worth it

I would probably get a whole new front panel as although there arent major holes the bottom right hand corner (see pics) is really quite bad and I would feel better with it all replaced. Rear arches I want done as well and I know I can get my hands on these panels easily. the only problem is like you said the front arch guards which liek you say have totally dissapeared. there is good metal there but as for replacements im at a loss as I cant find a panel anywhere so Im guessing i would need them fabricated from scratch! |

| yer i seee were your coming from.... just could do with knowing if theres is fresh metal thats in ok condition on the arch underneath the paint because i could fabricate the missing pieces and weld them back into position.... as for the front panel if you could get me some pictures ie were it would need chopping and welding back up and i will let you know when i can do it and that! |
