Triumph Spartan - Herald Kit Car Restoration

The other halfs dad has had it in the garage since 2000 and always said id get it sorted!

Well after the awfulness of the nova santapod its now been put under cover and im gonna work on the Spartan.

Its all ally panels and apparantly has a vitesse straight 6 and RWD

Anyway... havent got it out the garage but here's some pics to begin with.

Hasnt been running since 2000.... no chance of this starting first time! lmao

    Twin SU carbs

Holy **** look at the antique wiring!

    Stop for tea

Then got the old dash out from the rafters and made a nice new alloy one

Oh and just for a laugh

Kerrys dad said he bought it AGES ago!

i know he changed the box when he got it because it used to be used for hillclimbs.

He pissed himself when he saw the nitrous bottle sitting inside!

    lmao

deffinatelly make an effort on the triumph, a true piece of classical herritage which should be restored back to its original condition

    IT ****ING RUNS!!!

Cant believe it.... done an oil change as the old oil is about 7 years old... replaced some perished hoses and fuel lines, put some new plugs in, whacked a battery on it and it started!

loads of effort to keep it running but its out there running on 7 year old leaded fuel! lmao

    Well happy
