looking good chap, and when that red top is in, i hope that you clear your head of ideas of buying a gsi, when theres really no need!you got everything of a gsi there in front of you, without the stupid insurance costs, and cost of trying to find a tidy gsi which isnt either full of rust, or priced stupidly high!

We today's job was to repaint the grill so i started rubbing it down gave it a clean then sprayed the primer. Well i went for lunch and got back to a ****ty looking grill talk about paint react . Anyway i spent the last hour useing paint stripper to take all the layers of paint off its now in the shed like a nice black bit of plastic gonna wash it off in work tomorrow then rub it down fill any bits that need it and get some plastic primer .

Sorry no photos as of yet

Re: Smokin's 5door astra mk3 ;)

Be very carefull using paint stripper on plastic.

When you primer bits like you have up there, get the tape and fold the edge back on its self by about 3/4mm, this will give a softer edged line.
