| Just had a good bit of progress. Pedal box has now had the master cylinders removed, girdle has been removed, crank has been removed, trigger disk fitted on the crank, crank refitted and i just need to borrow a torque wrench tomorrow to do the mains up with.
Going to give the block a lick of paint once the sump is back on as its looking a bit tatty for the performance it shud have. Also i might try and split the box tomorrow so i can reseal it to stop that leaking.
BTW i think this is the fastest i have ever made progress on my car, that coupled with the fact i do actually really want to drive it again soon after hearing off Dan how his performed when mark mapped it.

| Right the job interview is now out of the way so i can crack on properly with the nova again.
Recieved a parcel from SBD and one from Autovaux this morning. One had some gaskets and oil in and one had some more ARP 2000 bolts in. Hopefully tomorrow all been well i can get the bottom end all torqued back up and the sump back on.
Still waiting on my car loom arriving which seems to be taking longer than expected to be sent to me. |

| Bottom end is now all torqued up, girdle is back in place and the sump will be going back on tomorrow afternoon.
Also managed to split the F28, re-seal it and put it back together. Hopefully this rebuild i will have no oil leaks from the sump or from the gearbox. You can live in hope |

| Small update. The sump has now been welded and fitted, had a adapter made for the oil pressure sensor, had the bottom pully bolts counter sunk for oil cooler pipe clearence, timed it up i think and managed to sort a nice new clutch and flywheel setup out. All in all a easy way to spend over £1k .
O and this is the sump after going in the dish washer.
Currently having some front hubs made up with the track rods inverted. If anyone is interested i will be putting a for sale post up offering these on a exchange basis. |

| you'd do well to have a plastic crank sensor at hand as alot of aftermarket ecu's don't like them metal sensors. |

Thats if i did not throw it away. Dont think rob or dan have had any issues with there standard ones though. Still got 2 different trigger setups now so i will see which is best. |
