    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

So as the song says "i've had an absolute cu*t of a day!"

Started by getting the m/c and servo fitted, then working out where i wanted to run the brake lines and where the 2/1 would go.
Started making up test lines from old coat hangers.. Even this was a total nightmare. But got most done now.

Trying to do it very neatly.

    One bent,

    Hhhmm blue?

    3 done..

One left, and its the drivers side so its a biggen. And utter nightmare and i might end up killingh my self with rage.

the lines look really good in the blue, I had similar problems doing mine, and they are nowhere near as good looking as those ones you have done. Keep at it mate, the end result will be worth it.

Its taken a day to make 4, thats the only reason they are neat. Really funking me off, i just want them done and out of the way. Want them right tho so i can fit them and never touch them again.

With a big hand from Dan, got the dash out to day, carpets out.
Started to tidy up and sort my wiring loom, worked out were to run the in car brake lines and bias adjuster. Gonna route the last line tomoz and get all the front ones fitted too.

Gonna try and get the battrey cabling run to the boot as well. And new rear speaker wires. Get the floor behind the dash sealed and painted too.

Just to spread some love over here on MIG Benn! fab work.

I routed my battery cable through passenger sill inside a length of garden hose for added protection.

Good to see you do Craig, thank you

In to the sill? How? Cut and hole? I was gonna lay it along where the loom runs, just under the carpet hard up against the sill...

I'd advise keeping it away from other wires (interference), so I put it through the sill which can eneter the boot through the quarter panel easily (assume to a battery box), then upfront it exited the sill cavity, run up the inner footwell & through a grommet I cut into the bulkhead where I joined it to the loom where the original power wire connected to the loom in the scuttle area.

    Hope that helps.

Yeah i've move the wiring to run down the pass side. The battrey wiring and fuel pump feed with run down the same side. Bit tricky to get to the sill from the rear quarter as my filler pipe comes in thru there. So i think it will have to run along the floor under the carpet..
Thry the bulk head likes yours to the scuttle.
