Some great pics Benn, them bolt kits from eBay are great and so cheap too. Looks like the LET is fine internally, must've been a nice sight to see. Is that baffle the standard let baffle or an 8v one?

Cheers dude, yeah the bolts are good quality and where cheap as funk. I'm happy it isnt too bad, as Lee said it might of sat a lil damp. But the compression was ok so rings should be. Gasket is a 8v/ecotec one. Fitted on fine.

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

Cool, I need to get a new baffle so it looks like I'll be going for the 8v one (seems to be a popular choice from what I've read). Them bolts are just too cheap to pass up.

    Keep it up dude

Yeah, mine didnt leak at all. Just remember you need shorter bolts (m6x20mm)

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

Been doing bits here and there, order stuff and getting the mount finished off.

    Picked up one of these..

    Gonna polish it i think..

Got this a while ago from Mr Fly,

No pic but its a Zlet oil pump and this pick up pipe.. Does the pipe look right? (to fit a xe/let)

    Fiber glass sanded off..

    Don't need that...

    Minging under there..

Cleaned that up, welded the holes up.

The didn't like the panel join of the front panel to slam, so ground it off, welded it over, ground that off to be smooth, then filled it all in one hit.

Have also shaped the front part of it so it looks nicer and is easier to sand around the mount...

Need a tiny bit more shaping but is mostly done.

    Exhaust is done too ....

    Thank you Sir.

Don't look it, but finished. Well needs a light 180 off then primer and seal up the under side. But it's mostly done.
