looking good, love the interior! Id be turning the hub down with it in 5th on axle stands and a file :P
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, thoroughly used, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming... "f*ck, what a trip!"

Been following this since the beginning... Looks great!

Could you not make some new brackets for the calipers to adjust the position or even machine the existing brackets say by reducing the thickness of them?

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

A big thank you to Dan for his help mocking everything up and a trail fitting on his GTE.

Now an even bigger thanks to Pete. Who spent this afternoon doing some machining for me.

So i turned up at Pete's house/Garage with all this..

Pete started off getting the hubs stripped down.. Ooo look at this size of his spanner.. lol

    Bearing removal thingie.

Needed a bit more grip.. Carefully does it!

Now on to the fun bit.. Lathing.

The outer of the hub needed about 2mm shaving off and about 4mm from the center (to make it all the size side, no step)

Got my new disk to test fit.

Looks like the kittie. As the disk is for Vag car it's got a few holes, lucky it lines up with the 5stud hub

    Bit of mocking up..

    Oooooooo hello!

Bit of a gap on the rear..

Bit its a nice fit on the front

Shame you cant see the name tho.. New wheels would sort that tho... lol

With that sorted, i know what i need to buy to finish(a small spacer and 10mm longer bolts)
Pete pressed the other hub and bearing out.

Inner of the hub thats turned down to fit the Nova bearing.. All perfect after 5k of abuse.

Screw buying disks from Rally Design.
Once again a huge thanks to Pete (pitstoppete)

After looking at Dan fitting them on his GTE, no chance they'd fit under anything under a 15"

Looks good as always mate, funny that you were fitting these brakes the same weekend as I was fitting your old brake kit to my car. See my progress thread for pics. BTW do you know what discs are used in the kit I got off you as they are obviously not VX ones as the offset is completely .
