Mk1 exhausts enter from an angle (usually) but the mk1 bumper ends close to the rear panel so the xhaust only protudes a couple inches, on the mk2 bumper its much longer underneath & a mk2 exhaust needs to come out quite a few inches to clear the length of the car.

I put a GTE scorpion tail pipe on my old K reg 1.2 & the 4'' tail is lost under the bumper. Looks hideous!

Small update,

Over the weekend i found some one that will build me the joining bit of pipe for my back box,
Which i'm very happy about..thats all booked up for next weekend,

So i set this morning too cleaning my newish back box up, shes an ashley 3" box,
