    Clearance is ok,

    Tiny bit close..

    But

    And..
    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...t=MVI_7887.flv

Still blowing a bit but that will be sorted. After a bit of messing about found the icv was opening and closing, but was sticking.
Fitted the one from my xe and it sorted it. Was missing in the first vid, but cleared after a few mines of running.

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

Popped to halfords this morning and bought some plastic paint for some of the plastic trims as the cream doesnt go with the black headliner or leather... Yes thats right leather lol

    Seems ok... So.

Then have been pissing about getting the bonnet pull to work, got it to work with just the dick pushed in..
    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v3...t=MVI_7895.flv
But wouldn't work with the bonnet down. Messed about trying different set ups and crap. Gave up, came back and have finely sorted it. So that's nice nice and have tidied up the wiring and boost pipes and bits under the slam pannel.

We noticed last weekend i have a light oil leak so got under to see where its comming from. There's a nut that's screwed in to the sandwich plate, i think its leaking from around that. But while laying under there i noticed this..

Looks like its been rubbing on.... Oh

Yes that's the banjo bolt from the oil cooler, funking stupid thing! This is why another reason why i've never used one before. Any one else has this prob? Any fix? Might have to bin the cooler...

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

looking good, bummer about oil cooler, i never used one on my standard let and i now off 3 over lets around mine not using oil coolers and oil temp has been ok. on my nova the drive shaft hits the chassis leg some times so it might crack the sandwich plate housing if it hits it hard enough if you are going to heighten the front abit to clear it. so if stayin low i would bin it

    Re: My Nova's Rebirth

I'd have thought the oil temps on a LET would be far higher than on a XE, whooping great hot thing at the front and everything.

You oil sandwich plate is cocked over slightly. It needs undoing and twisting the other way, there is usually a lug that locates it into position.

Ah that might be why the nut that i think is leaking is touching the sump/block.
