If you wish to buy a set of A539's you can happily swap for the Hero tyres on my mums, they really are ditch finders! lmao
    good good,
did a quick search on them before i orderd, and didnt find anything bad,

I had a set on my old GSI (green one) and I had a pair on my old R5GTT which had A539's on the front and a510's on the rear. I also have a pair on my current Corsa but am not including those as I aint driven it yet.

IMO the only downside to the is that they are asymmetrical ie. not directional whereas say a Toyo Proxe TR1S is, so probably isn't as 'engineered' as it could be.

had them on my gte last year. Couldnt put the power down in 1st/2nd or 3rd in the wet. And when i did trackdays in the rain they just went straight on. useless IMO

Same as my opinion of driving like a muppet in the wet, yes your latter part excludes you from that but my interpetation of 1st/2nd/3rd etc implies road use.

They are tyres, some are better than others granted but they don't have magical powers against elements which reduce grip, even Aladdin on his magic carpet would slow down in the wet - it's common sense.

I had a539s on my nova for years and tbh wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

Had 539's on my old clio... great in the dry, but slidy in the wet, but then i suppose compromises must be made... can't have a tyre that brillient in the wet AND in the dry!

They are reasonably priced (if you have a fairly standard sized wheel) and work fairly well...
