Exclamation e30 cab, rangerover hybrid!!!!!(56k no no)

the plan is to make a big 3.9, 4x4 , lpg ,air suspension, bmw e30 cab that is capable of tackling the rough stuff!!

so we have a minter e30 325i with brand new roof

then chop up a 1993 rangerover vouge 3.9 lpg!!!!

comedy wheels on rangerover shell

then start to dismantle the bmw so we can nick the shell

thats about as far as we have got at the mo, will keep this thread updated on the progress of the monster and it should be finished in a few weeks and then we will be taking it to most of the shows this year!!!!

the bmw we have had for a few years now and the engine is on its last legs , and the k reg plates are the range rover plates as it will be registered as a range rover

Looks a mental project. Always wondered how the police would react these type of projects, when they run the plate it comes back as a range rover but its clearly a bmw on stilts.

its all done on points, you get points for chassis, engine, gearbox ,suspension ,shell, so it will be mostly range rover as the only bmw bit is the body

That's the plan, I have 60mm on now......To LOW, well not to low, but the springs fall out if you jack it up!
I have some standard springs but they are to high, so hopefully, looking at the photo......

the springs will be 40mm

I am 99% sure, the rear springs on an E30, go on type rather than engine. So you have the saloon springs and then Convertible/Touring. Just found out it also goes on 6cyl/4cyl

So 320 would be the same as 325 as both are 6cyl
