| Very interesting, but I can't help feeling it's a waste of a gorgeous mint E30. Could you not have done it with a ****ter? |

Looks very well done from the photos.

| I know it no lash up, and it's very impressive, but why use a mint Cabroilet, one of the rarest and most desirable E30s. Can't help being reminded of the sacrifice, when looking at the pics.
I'd rather have had the E30 in the first pic to be honest.
Very good all the same of course. |

| The engine was knackered though, so it wasn't that mint...
and anyway, why do an engine swap when you can do this? |

Very good all the same of course. | How'd ya know it was mint? and TBH, there are still loads of good e30 cabs out there. Plus E30s never really rot in obvious place. Its not as if theres only 6 left either.

I do also stand by people's very variable definition of 'mint', be they car mechanics / salesmen / enthusiasts or whatever. Im sure its a lovely motor, I just never believe these things until Ive seen it with my own eyes.
No disrespect meant to the project. As said was in a crappy mood. |

but it really is(was) a mint car ie not one once off rust and not a scratch or stone chip anywhere!!, due to the fact it had a bare metal respray last year! |
