| This is going to be so awesome!
As a massive landy fan, someone doing something like this really makes me excited.
Are you going to get some longer springs and some knobbly tyres too?
A BMW with a winch would look so amazingly funny!
Make sure you take LOTS of photos, this is going to be in LRO one day!

I take it you've got a working system then?
I'm seriously excited about this project, you know.
Is the engine staying standard? How difficult will the wiring be, regarding the BMW loom and Range Rover ECU? Or am I over-thinking things? |

the engine may get tweaked a bit but the wiring is pretty straight forwards!
the engine will run from the range rover ecu the only bit of rr wiring that will be in the bmw shell is the ignition switch and the clock wiring!!
all the lights etc will be from the bmw loom, the only hitch so far is we have to cut a piece of the bulk head out to clear the engine!!!
then its on to figure out how to mate the bmw steering collum to the range rover rack, and plum the rr brakes to the bmw master cylinder |

Even if it's just a cone filter, it will make the V8 sound incredible.
I really could do with seeing this in the flesh. Make sure you take loads of photos of the wiring and everything!
I was also thinking about the steering column. You'll have to do what they did on the center steer, and just have two sprockets with a chain between them.
I see the future... I see... universal joints and welding. |

someone was saying about fuel consumption till they realized it gas converted as well |

| Any photos yet?
Where abouts on the chassis does the bulkhead sit?
Are you going to have to move the arches? How wide is the body compared to the track of the wheels?
So many questions!! Sorry for being annoying. |

| no pics yet may have to wait till tomorrow now!!!
the bulkhead needs to be cut so it clears the back of the engine,
the wheel base of the bmw is nearly identical to the rr so dont need to move anything, and i havnt measured the width as thats not a problem as such, but i will just for you lmoa |
