| Cheers mate, yeah I could of kept the standard IC really as they are pretty good but this one came up at a good price and people on MLR recommend them as good value for money etc so just done it
Not a lot to do now mate, don't want to keep chucking money at it, Ive got it to a sensible level where its quick, reliable etc, will just maintain it and get to a fair new trackdays to enjoy it
Only things I want to do now is fit an electronic boost controller so I can have a hi/lo boost setting for normal everyday driving, replace front topmounts as passenger one has started to show signs of wear, some more silicone pipes, and just little cosmetic bits like a vortex generator for the back and stuff |

| Rob, you can probably get by on just a switch for the "hi-lo" boost setting, just turn off the amal valve and it will drop to actuator pressure only for probably 200bhp or so.
I cant see the point though, the acclerator pedal is a variable boost device anyway! |

| Yeah the IV interior fabric pattern/colour isn't the best, prob the only thing I don't like very much but to be honest I don't care lol, I could fit a 5/6 or even a Tommi Mak interior as its all a straight swap but its money I'd rather not waste, the Recaros in the 4 are far better than the 5/6 as well, a lot more of a bucket to them!
Amel valve isn't connected chip, just the manual boost controller... And I was thinking more of having a low boost setting if I leave it anywhere IE bodyshop or something and they decide to take it out for a "testdrive" well despite the fact I would pummel their face in if I found out about it, it reduces the risk of them ragging it on cold with full boost, I'd love to say it doesn't happen but it does
Theres no hurry for one though, I will just keep an eye out for a cheap 2nd hand one on ebay, fancied a Apexi AVCR but nearly £300 for a fancy boost controller with some "cool" features is a bit too much IMO unless your loaded lol |

* Need to spray bonnet vent black to match the rest |

| Mate you've removed the secondary air system to the manifold so you can remove more of it (back to the intake pipe) with no problems. Simply plug the vac connection and the one to the intake pipe.

Been very busy this weekend, have fitted the following:
* Cusco pillowball top mounts (well fitted these last week actually lol)
* TME oil cooler as standard E4 one was not good enough
* Ralliart mudflaps after some hammer and vice action with the brackets
* Apexi 1.3 bar rad cap, I actually stop loosing water now lol
* New pre-cut shag pile carpets lol ok there just normal ones
* Fitted MLR sun strip, don't worry its only a small black one!
* Majorly cleaned the car inside and out
* Got fined £30 by the 5-0 for having a small front numberplate, DOH!
Heres some pics of my efforts lol (Oh and I know the mud flaps wont be to everyones taste but they look good in the flesh so ner ner lol) |

| Nah I live in Bristol mate, yeah the red pattern is a bit but I don't really give a fook because its not supposed to look pretty, just be practical, the seats in the IV are a lot more buckety than the laster ones as well
I could stick a later interior in but whats the point, i'd rather put the money towards a bigger turbo
Cheers |

Or just strip the interior, door cards. I mean seriously, i love evo's and have for a while now but that interior looks really bad.
Whats the levers on the front seats for? It's a 5 door so don't need to put the front seats forwards |
