The 90 quid corsa

heres a pic of when i bought it

and one before i debadged it home

and one after i did it

changed the interior light to a smoked vectra one
before

after

mine and ma birds car and ma dads car after a wash

i used mer bumper and vinyl cleaning gell on all the plastics
before

and after
not bad for 90 quid eh alloys and a jvc cd player included its only a 1.2 though cant afford insurance and i am 15 but ma birds gunna drive it



heres a pic of the rust on the chassis
and heres one with those badges i mentioned



tell me what ya think update after a trip to the scrappy i got a new numberplate light

also got a set of gm side repeaters

and the best find was these spax rear and front springs i think they are minus 60 mm anyway they where only 20 quid
when we got them home set about fitting the rear ones and taking the front ones off the shockers they were on the front ones on my car were snapped in about 3 places will get pics wen i get the bastard off the shock any tips on how to get the nut cracked on top of the front shock absorber anyone

NEW UPDATE:thumbs: !!! PICs Of the welding before it got undersealed


I converted my mfd to blue looks loads betta

Shot in the dark

fitted some new sills old ones were nakered only in primer but sprayed up now


i also colour coded the roof rails



and heres a pic of the spax front springs fitted

when i was bored one night i decided to make this out of the old badge

looks awrite mate, i got same kind of bargain, got a s plate for 120 taxed and motd. 24k on the clock!! putting my turbo in it. wot plans you got for it??

thanks for that mate also own(my dads) a astra mk3 1.6 ls its a nice i would say fairly fast and it handles like a train on a track the one in the pic where they have both been washed

good stuff, how tricky and annoying is it to change to blue LEDs? and where do you get them from? it looks cool i might do it to my car, half the white LEDs are fecked anyway

update gsi clocks in with blue leds also got a post 97 boot handle at last

whats the difference mate with pre and post 97 handles ? also where did you get the leds from ?

pre 97 have a flat plastic badge similar to those found on nova bonnets etc but post 97 have a raised chrome moulding type badge. as far as i know thats the difference but im sure the young man will be able to tell you himself if im wrong

Impressive, bargain at £90!

And as you're only 15, you've got plenty of time to make it nice.

A 1.2 Corsa is plenty fast enough when you're young like us.

I love the springs, the LEDs and the general welding and spraying that's going into this. Personally, I'd have used white LEDs because blue and red don't really work.

And I don't like the position of the badges.

But I love the car.

Just promise us you'll stay away from bodykits.

ones my sister and ones my gf thanks for the comments guys i got the leds from a ebay i bought a big joblot if any one wants to buy some from me then pm me cheers
kennybarbour : yes your right and i am still on the look out for a post 97 boot handle
jack : no body kits lol maybe some post 97 or gsi bumpers though

needs updateing i have pics of the whole dash blue leded i am unhappy with the brightness of the heater controls they arent bright enough
