I'll keep an eye on this. Was contemplating doing the exact same with my C16XE.

I'll be keeping an eye on this thread too, been thinking about using bike tb's and megasquirt on my c20xe.

I know you weren't happy with your times at Pod last weekend mate but are you sure it's down to the engine? I'm sure I read that you felt it was quicker than it was with the standard c16xe?

I'd have a diff & some proper POD tyres before seeking more power, but as its a road car too the extra power will no doubt lop a fair whack off the 40 to 100mph time I would hope.

I believe a LSD/ATB Diff is better than an extra 50bhp...

i got R1 ones from the staes. 80 quid delivered or somethin daft like that

megasquirt to be purchased either end of this month or end of next. not in any rush as the car is being MOT'd as the 1256cc then converted - less stringent emissions laws , means my mapping skills dont need ot be great for the mot lol.

from extraefi.com you get a part loom with it, ie a plug for the ecu with tails on for making your own loom up to spec. personally im gony use an old vauxhall loom and take what i need from it including fuel pump relay and the few sensors that are needed

Carbs are carbs(mechanical)

Tb's are Tb's(Electronic, injectors)

lol
Just the same as car carbs/tbs.

Go for Throttle Bodies!!!
