Viziers Vec: Project 3.2V6

this is my litle project so far in short
il try to go into details but i dont know all the part names in english

whe pulled the engine out a while back:

the heater (verry important :P ):

the old handbag 2.5:

empty :

last week i bought an 3.2V6 on german ebay:

fitting the new gearbox on the old engine:
with the help of a alluminnium watercut ring, a perfect fit

and last whe drove 450km thru germany to pick up my new engine :

putting the hydrolic Slave Cylinder from the f25 in the f28

some cutting

and now it fits

whe still have to drill new holes, and whe have to cut something out of the Slave Cylinder so that the oilringthing will fit between the Slave Cylinder and the gearbox

and thats about it
have fun reading and il update the topic occasionnaly

why did you fit a spacer between the the gearbox and block?

surley by doing this you will have problems with the input shaft from the gearbox not meeting up properly with the clutch drive plate?

the F28 is a bit shorter then the original F25 (il take a picture so u can c)

if i dont then i wil have to move the block (a bit back) in the engineroom for the gearbox to fit in the right place
that would mean making an all new suspension system for the block, plus the chance that it wont fit, already short on room behind the block

this way, i only need to make 1 new bracket for the gearbox, and the engine is in the place where it should be

the input shaft is long enuf btw
there's an astra mk3 (astra f) driving around with a 3.0V6 F28 and the same spacer
that car is also driving around with a 2.0 flywheel and clutch witch is alot thinner then my fly wheel
there have been no problems with that car yet

the guy who build it in there is helping me with my project

You can use the F28 Flywheel and Clutch then just space the engine over a bit like I did.
