| How hard isit to fit a 20ltr in a nova? Hi, i've got a 1.3sr nova and would like to fit a 2ltr 16v engine, just wondering how hard it would be to get it to fit
how much it would cost and what i need
im pretty sure i need drive shafts, ecu, loom, and f20 gear box? and engine obviusly
any help please

| It's been discussed about seven million times already mate, you can find everything you need to know with the search feature.
Search in mechanical & electrical, with thread titles "C20XE Nova" or "XE Nova" and you'll see it's been done before. |

| Mounts you can get from Chris Astley.
Shafts you can use Nova GTE 22 spline ones with Cav 1.6 Mk2 inners.
Engine/Box/Loom etc you can get from the for sale section.
Ideally you want to seam weld the engine bay.
You will want to upgrade your suspension and brakes to boot. The standard 2.0 16v Astra GTE brakes will be upto the job!

Thanks Carl | I guess it wouldn't be that hard if you know what your doing, it's like everything else, it's hard unless you know how - and i don't know how either so...
It should be ok to do though, just get the correct mounts required and all the parts which wil need upgraded, fuel pump, ECU, breaks etc...
