    oh dear!

had to take all me documents into the cop shop today, but the garage where its being held isnt open sundays so gonna have to go get it first thing tomorrow!

gotta pay 105quid for the recovery and to get it back, which was the least of my worries as i had a chopped down numberplate, fog lights on, dvd player playing and speeding, and i've only got 3points left till i loose me licence, was a verrry lucky!
i know what youve been up to lmao

last night we all got our cars professionally photographed and if any are seen within 2 months there going away on a lowloader.

just feel safe in the knowledge your pride and joy has been taken for a spin in the pound (dont expect tread on the tyres and hope for minimal scratches, theres ***** trust me)

its not goin to a car compound as such, its at a garage who have a 24hour recovery truck! it goes to the compound after 14days and crushed after 21days! but im not gonna leave it 1 day in their hands!

got my car back safe and sound yersterday! got there first thing and it was parked on concrete and even under cover! and the milage hadnt even moved a click! gave it a proper look around and all looks aye ok! guess i got away with it very lightly from any car impound horror stories!!
and my polly bushes came today! a full front set, so that cheered me up

full front set of proper power flex bushes, got it for 95quid with the vat, as appose to the 160quid they charge out from the magazines, so saves a tidy little number there! will be fittin them all on saturday!

Are the astra Mk3 lower arms like the Mk2 astra ones? If so then there are some bushes that you dont want to fit in positions on them. Have a look for oddballs post on here somewhere about them. They started to bore a hole through the mounting point.

Unlucky getting it seized! Atleast its back safe & sound...

Try some std Nova GTE rear springs to get the back end down. I say std because they are the firmest Nova springs you will find.

todays task was to get polly bush up!

    bottom arms came off ok,

got the old bushes out with the old faitful oxy-centelene

and the new ones went is piece of p1ss

had to drop the rear of the subframe down to get to the anti-roll bar clamp!

and got it all back toghether in no time at all

and put new track rod ends on aswell while it was up in the air

so got a nice tight front end now

havent really had a chance to test it yet!
