yeah and he wrote 256 at the bottom of the page.........

That will Be Uncle Ray at T+M in colchester, he is the man at setting up old skool stuff and rollers are well maintained too, he does loads of rally cars etc down there.

the power graph peaks at 186kW on the rolling road AT THE WHEELS!

by your reckoning of 1.34 that takes the bhp at the wheels to 249.4, the transmission losses are below the zero on the graph and are 35kW (the lower blip after the over run peak taken from the average of the red and green plots) which gives a total of 221kW at the flywheel, which comes out at 296.36 actual BHP!

i will check tomorrow if he has quoted metric horse power (PS) as bhp on the graph! 1kW= 1.3596 PS. or if he knows something we don't?

did he calculate losses for bigger wheel size?

the transmission loss is taken from the restance on the over run, not the overall speed, so the bigger wheels smaller tyres wouldnt make a differance!

to fit the brakes reyland can do custom brake bells to move the disk further in, then use a thicker calliper spacer to move the calliper in.

If you want custom bells and brake calipers use www.ttvracing.com, they are just down the road from you in between ipswich and colchester.

wasnt meaning that, your running wheels bigger than what its designed for so effectivly gearing is wrong.. ask him next time you pop down and he will explain

received my 60mm rear springs this morning, so can drop the a*se end down now and did a bit of buy buy buyin and ordered a full front set of polly bushes (wishbones and anti roll bar) and brought a aftermarket oil cooler and pipes aswel! when i fit the polly bushes going to replace the track rod ends (bit of play in them) and the bottom ball joints just for piece of mind! and a nice tight front end!

so if all the bits arive by the weekend i'm gonna be a busy busy boy!

had 60mm springs on my old gsi for a bit. worst thing I ever did to the car; too low and too dangerous. Absolutely no confidence in the car at all.

the polly bushes hadnt turned up as yet, so just set my tasks for the day as sticking the new rear springs in!

took it into work and stuck it up on the lift!

gave a chance to have a look at the new exhast had done a week ago, hadnt seen it propley yet! 2 1/2 inch all the way

cleaned the heat shild and bits while i was under there

so got on and fitted the new 60mm springs

and got it back down on the deck and...

    sits exactly the same????

a*se still stickin up in the air!!

putting it down to new springs and they'll bed in, if not it'll have to be coilovers next!!

so to cheer my self up gave it a full valet lmao

still with its a*se up in the air

and out polish worker trying to cliam the credit of ownin the astra lmao

    thats been today anyway!!

oh dear, fell foul of this section 59, causing a disturbance and anti social behavior, that the police have inforce now! got a warning in january and last night i got my second for flooring it away from the traffic lights, very fast

and if anyone was wondering, yes they do sieze your car there and then

    oh dear!

had to take all me documents into the cop shop today, but the garage where its being held isnt open sundays so gonna have to go get it first thing tomorrow!

gotta pay 105quid for the recovery and to get it back, which was the least of my worries as i had a chopped down numberplate, fog lights on, dvd player playing and speeding, and i've only got 3points left till i loose me licence, was a verrry lucky!
