| mk2 astra gte thought it was about time i put a post on here about the gte.
lets start from the begining after having the car on the road for a year i decided there was alot about it i was not happy with so started to strip it
and put it right well it got a little out of control and ended up a bare shell again.
first thing we done was to build a new cage my dad was tasked with this along with turreting the rear and changing the topmounts on the front suspension and a mounting for the fuel cell just fwd of the beam here is some pics of the work.
and for the front |

| not done much been working late getting the boat ready to go to sea but have fitted the steering column now using a mk3 astra one as when compared to a mk2 looks like a much better item without a silly little push in cap at the bottom that falls out lol while fitting the column i also put the dash in around the correct position to check that while seated i could see it ok i also moved the column down about an inch and moved it to the right to make it feel better for my seating position with low side mounted seats
packed the car away now under cover in my mates workshop ready for when i get back from sea so |

| few pics of my turbo comes from a friend and its done a genuine 2k miles as you can see from the pics
its a t34 with a .48 rear housing so a hybrid turbo but i am changing the rear to a .63 so it will be the same as a big escos turbo good for 380-400 bhp without the nitrous. |

| your a pain in the arse rick
had to hold the turbo up and get my missus to take a pic she said she hopes you appreciate it as she had to stop eastenders LOL
it sits quite a way out beardy might be making some mods to mine to move the turbo closer to the block or allow it to fit the other way around |
