getting closer dude!
have you still a long to do list?
The list isn't looking too bad now - although things always take longer than you expect. I'm hoping to get the lights and the dash sorted next and then the seats and exhaust.
I've been spending some time on building a stalk for the steering wheel to take care of indicators, lights and horn. These are traditionally all toggle switches on the dash and I've not been able to find anyone who's managed to do it successfully. With a lot of trial and error I've found a suitable stalk and have made up a bracket to mount it to the steering column - it even self cancels the indicators which is a real bonus. it just needs a few final tweeks and I'll be happy with it and it'll keep the dash clear for lots of guages lol.
how much has it costed you so far??

looks absolutely amazing fella!

May be contacting you for one of those backing plates if you decide to make them...
That inlet is the nuts.
When I die, I want to go peacefully like my Grandfather did, in his sleep -- not screaming, like the passengers in his car.

awsome project, some great work has gone into this!!
With a few final llittle bits for the engine bay on order (braided hose, more silicone, battery cover, MSD Coil bracket and a stainless pipe for the coolant) I decided to move on to the rest of the car this weekend.
Firstly, I got stuck into the lighting. I've gone for a set of LED tail lights, with indicator outers and tail/stop light inners on the outside, and tail/stop light outers and reverse inners on the inside. I also have a set of fogs to fit either side of the number plate but I ran out of suitable electrical supplies.
I'm going to have a carbon fibre dash, but to avoid any ****-ups I decided to make up a couple of dash's in plywood first.
I test fitted the first mock-up and played around with the stack location before I was happy.
To eliminate the need for the traditional Westfield toggle switches for absolutely everything I made up a bracket to locate a stalk. This particular unit has a self cancelling switch that once mounted to my bracket, marries up perfectly to the lugs on the standard Westfield steering wheel. This stalk deals with horn, all lighting (except fogs), and indicators.
I made up a fresh mock-up dash when I was happy with the location of everything.
The black-faced fuel guage will be substituted for a white faced Stack equivilent as soon as stack get their act together and actually start making their auxilliary guages in white.
Finally I test fitted the carbon aeroscreen - and it's starting to look like a car now.
