| some pics of my astra GSI ala rebuild stage As some of you may know I go through cars like people go through underpants, and am never happy unless I'm building something new,
started with an original 8v astra GSI from egay, and worked up.
Drove it for a few months, then stripped it, fitted an XE, electric windows, clifford, 288's, spax and some 17" speedlines I had about.
As usual rear arches were shagged some ordered some new ones and welded them in, along with inner arches which were actually missing!
Here are the pics as its come back from the bodyshop (only part I didn't do was the paint)
cheers to dave marshall fo letting me nick some bits of a car he was breaking!
Rich

| No chris, this is just a runaround I have done up, although I'll end up selling it, I know I will and buying something else.

| slow, hence why I put an XE in it. I would have put an LET in it, but I didn't have one spare at the time.

| cheers kris, you can see it tommorow i'll be down in it. Alternator packed up on it tonight so got to bang another one on now.
No biggie, will hopefully do some pics of it tommorow as a finished article... anyone want to buy it? PM me an offer lol
Regards to the arches I just cut out the rot, remade the inners using sheet steel I bent up to fit, bought outer arch repair panels, slipped them behind the original panel and seam welded them in.
