all day to remove an engine from a cally? steady away huh?

Was gonna say the luminous jackets are abit overkill, but if you're working into the night then you'll probably need em

Nice work, over saturday and part of sunday moring pete and dan stripped an XE out of a gte and got it bolted into a mk3 as well as stripping a lot of the gte for a few bits

nice work though, moved to projects so you can update this thread with progress, instead of having lots of threads

Yeh, It took Long! I spent 9-12ish getting the car in the air and taking bits/panels off ready to sell! (Bonnet blew over though! D'oh!)

First time really doing that, will be able to do it much quicker next time! Took ages fannying about with the pallet too. Next time i'm thinking get an engine crane straight away

Yeh! Probably could do it in a matter of hours next time! Was the first time we've taken an XE out of anything. And I just learn as I go with my mates. So this time we just got stuck in and took it all apart. Removing what we thought was in the way haha!

The main engine removal started at about 12 o clock probably when everyone else got out of bed! (Stayed up to watch the boxing). So we didn't think 6 hours was too bad for a first attempt! haha. Minimal Damage too which was nice!
