| As Dan said mate your probably the last person to cut corners. Plus if dan has a spare crank you can use at least you don't have to take the astra off the road to re-build the LET. Who cares about a deadline. My deadline is, it will be ready when its ready lol

| Cheers guys. I know Dave is just pulling my leg
Thanks for the offer of the crank Dan but I spoke to Rob today and I am going to get the crank balanced with the flywheel and clutch, so as I will need the lightened flywheel, and conrods from my XE anyway I will wait for mine.
Ben is getting a clutch made to fit the flat flywheel as well which will take 300BHP apparently so I have to wait for that as well.
There is plenty that can be done in the meantime....
Clean and paint the bare block.
Clean all the mucky parts and strip bits ready for shotblasting
get parts shotblasted
get parts powder coated
source bits on list
Sell a kidney to finance it all...

| I want to get all the nuts and bolts new from Vauxhall. Has anyone got a list or a link to a list of all the bits I need.
I could work it all out but if there is a list ready for me to take to Vaux it would be handy. |

| Not a lot from me today, just dropped the LET head to Rob for a refurb with new valve seals and an acid dip. I dont know if this is the head I will use yet so its being prepared for either usage or sale.
Can you have a word with Rob next week abot the work on the head you talked about. I will also find out what bit I need from the F20 so I can go and nab a bit from some broken gearbox. Would the bit be on other boxes lihe the F18 as well? |

| Brian, when you buy / borrow / beg / steal the washers from spankee, there are 13 in the bag and you need 12. The odd 1 is mine.
