It was a few years ago when I ordered up all my parts and I could't get any rears back then.. It would of saved some hassle if I could!!

Mine were so shot, we turreted the back end so they arent structural (as such). We have smoothed the spring location nipples on the legs & rear beam.

really wish you could get the chassis legs though, pattern ones are available for Cavs etc but not Novas. Definately the Novas achilles heel IMO.

    Well done again...

Have you seen my project btw?
    Attention stupid question time......
As you can't buy the rear chassis legs can't a template be made up of it and then a 'replica' be made??

    Apologies in advance

I did spend many weeks looking around the local scrappies looking for some fresh rear legs I even looked under corsas to see if I could mod them. It's a fact that 99% of nova's are a bit fecked in the rear leg department

I had ordered them from vauxhall as they were listed as in stock but they lied!

As for making them I did make the last 8" or so but the shape is very complicated and they are of course made of much thicker stuff than a wing or sill so not the easiest stuff to bend and hammer into shape!

The thing is me old bus was a clean old bus. A lot of people would be quite shocked at what's under all the seamsealer and stone chip and crud.

As for the suggestion that I repair everyone chassis legs for them. You've got as much chance of getting noshed off by the queen mum whilst eating a dodo sarnie as you have of me doing that.. Dig??

I can't find any on Hadrian's web site??

Thats very true, alot of people done realise that all it takes is a pinhole in the underseal for water to get in, and your whole chassie could be rotten under the sealer. The main trouble is that your chassie rots from the inside out so its very hard to stop.

I sold a offside rear chassie leg to someone on here last year.

Not much, buy some lengths of tube a couple of scaffy clamps some wheels etc and make one. £100 - £200 to get one made maybe. Very very handy thing when doing this kind of stuff.

Have you felt the weight of the sunroof in them? You better believe it's getting lost. I can have about 200 extra tins of beer AND a few maccy d's just with that one weight saving move!
