Well it's been a while so I thought now that the wife has finally let me out of DIY this and buying that and so on.

I opened the garage door and spent the last three days sorting out the fecking big pile of stuff that was dumped within.

It was 'orrible! lmao









and this is what a shied load of gear that's been sorted into boxes check out how much the benches are bowed lmao I think one day I'll open the door to a ****ing big pile of bits on the floor



and my new anti lard set up for winter...

So nipped out to the man cave for an hour or two tonight. Just chucked some panels at it as the more **** I get on the car the less **** there is around the car.









Nothing amazing but as the saying goes every little helps etc....

That's the plan. Chuck eveything I've got at it to get a realistic idea of what parts I need etc..

Well as you'll all know I had to quite literally throw paint at my Nova to get it done in time so I thought I'd make a start at some paint rectification work (read that as try to sort out the **** paint finish )

So as white doesn't take a good photo you'll have to bear with me.

So I started with the f/n/s wing that was orange peel to say the least..


A quick buff with a DA sander with a 1500 disc..


Then finished with a block and 1500 wet and dry..


Then a buff over with some 3m finesse it and a rotary polisher..

So I whipped the wing off and started on the door. I was a bit gutted to find the door had a bit of bad solvent popping so I may have to repaint at a later date...

So same as before a quick buff with DA and 1500 disc.


Then a quick block with 1500 wet and dry. Here is a close up again of the solvent pops after a flat down..


Then a going over with the rotary polisher..



...and what happens when you are a nob and you catch the sponge on an edge....

Not much of an update but a little is better than nothing at all!

Paint has come up very well for how it started, looks good. Looks like you've sanded most of the pop out....

Looks like its flatted out, that can happen if it's right in the last coat..
