This is my beast to be

Engines out

striped out

bit of rot but good for her age 23years

£80 valver before the strip down

Thinking of running her on carbs (bike carbs)

more posted at later stage

mate I love the mk1's first Vx I brought was a red mk1 gte and that car was awsome and pretty much built like a tank had a slight coming together with a tree (ah to be young and foolish

) and not only did the car still drive it was fixed with only the use of king big hammer, thats probably what kept me on vx's pretty much from then on, keep us posted with how shes coming along

Think she has been on the Rust diet

suppose its one way how to reduce weight for the track

The weight of the GTE is 980kgs & the weight of the 16v engines about 115kgs minus the seats carpets sound proofing spare wheel so should be good for about 1TON ish? plus 150+BHP pushing her along = dam good fun
