vectra turbo project again

well some of you may no of or seen my vectra turbo,it was fetured in tv in june or july of this year

well just two days after i had the shoot done for my feture, someone decided to drive down the side of it,but didnt do to major damage,

so five months after being hit she finaly gets to the body shop where im treating her to a complete respray including egine bay etc,will get some pics when i go down on tues day

but this all gave me an excuse to do more to her so here are some pics of bits ive got for when she goes back together














my new turbo and manifold



some throttle bodies


uprated antiroll bars and powerflex bush kit


kent pulleys


this is th comresor housing off the turbo



i will get more pics when i can just need the body shop to finish the paint work now so i get get the engine and box back in the spec of the new car will be

engine

87 mm je low comp pistons
1.3 mm cometic head gasket
coscast head with piper valve caps
new tapets
xe inlet cam
kent vernier pulleys
steel rods
sputer bigends
sbd main bearings
arp 200 rod bolts
arp main stud bolts
piston cooling srays
dbilas throttle bodies
s14 tubular manifold
mpower t04e 50 trim turbo
external waste gate
unsure of injectors and management at the mo

suspension
fk coilovers
powerflex bushes
whiteline antiroll bars
all other bushes renewed

brakes
tarox 6 pot with 326mm discs front
300 mm vented rear discs

interior
momo jet stering wheel
momo
gear knob and handbrake lever
corbeau boss seat with 3 point harness

transmision
f28 with new sycros and quafe diff
vectra v6 and saab 93 drives shafts with saab cv joints

exterior veccy gsi kit
rear wiper removed
dont like over the top kitted cars

wheels
19" team dynamic diablos painted dark grey
215/35/19 yoko parada spec 2 tyres

i use image shack 4 all the pics but some reason they last ones came out huge

make sure the resize box is ticked and set to 640 buy 480 (message boards)...........

not sure the bodies will make any difference power wise but thought y not its a bit different

the turbo i got from the us a few months ago

the manifold i also got from the us the other week,iv just got to have the flanges modded and an external wastegate mount fitted,it looks like im gona have trouble with clearance as the compresor housing is so big

If i can get a GT30 in the front of a nova then you can get it in the front of a vectra easily!

its not room in the bay im worried about its how close to the block the compresor housing will be

That will be fine. Its on the same manifold as i have but with a smaller housing iirc.

Adding a greater spec to an already fine car. COOL!

Liking the manifold & turbo + the management etc. This should be pretty damn quick when done I imagine?

i hope so, it wernt slow b4 doin pod in 13.7@107mph but hoping for a bit more now but i just want it back on the road now,bored of the gutless 2.6

yeh will be mint not sure for how long tho as i will be doin some track days in it plus goin to the ring.

having it done a elite in foxton the lotus garage iv allways had my body work done there and i cant fault nicks work
