cheers mate. i am a complete novice mechanic, ive only just turned 17, and havent been taught anything. i think ive some kind of mechanic mind or whatever. i mean, ive taught myself, single handedly, how to remove the engine from my cav, how to strip it to a bare shell and change bits, fit exhaust bits, remove rust, fit sound system, convert parts from manual to electric, and so on. ive never had any help from anyone, because, being that i am only 17, i dont have mates that are mechanics, or anything even close to that.

ive even taught myself how to drive, again, with no help or lessons from anyone. i taught myself when i was 15 on a 1-2 mile long bit of private road thats belongs to the owner of the garage i worked at and had my cav welded at. loved racing up and down that road. lol. the cav clocked up a fair bit of mileage up n down that road.

ive basically just experimented with most things on this car. i'd seen most of the bits now on my cav on other cavs, so i thought, sod it, il big mouth and mesh my front bumper, or spray the interior silver, etc etc, and its kind of got out of hand now, stil, its kept me out of mischief the past few years, and ive finally run out mod's i want to do it to now, apart from tinting the windows and lowering it.

still, this is where the fun begins now, as im planning on stripping it to a shell, rust proof it, change the loom and bits, and then put it all back together again. thats gona be interesting.

Very nice work you've done there, especially considering you don't have much experience in this sort of stuff. You've done a great job.

Personally I would loose the lexus lights and I would put the standards back on.
