| i never thought i'd actually be saying this, with my experience of working with engines being absolutely none what so ever.
but.
the engine is ready to be removed
i have removed: - cam
cambelt
pulley
head
exhaust manifold
injector manifold and throttle body
fuel railings and injectors
radiator and fan
all piping
electric loom
thermostat
alernator and starter motor
and all the rest.
im quite shocked really as ive never done anything like this before at all, and ive had no help.

| also,
heres some more pics of it atm.
shes ina bit of a state at the moment bless it as i rushing to complete it, as i need it on the road soon!
ive re-done the entire dash in silver, fitted a brand new pass side wing, and undersealed all the rear part under the bumper as it had some welding done there. etc etc
also, while i had the front wing off, i undersealed all of the bodywork behind it, and gave it a good clean!
like the 2 ton ness? lol |

yer that was fun.
i so cant wait to put it all back together. and not know where on earth anything goes haha |

| also, the reason im stripping the entire interior down, is i am going to completely rust proof all of the it on the inside etc, as i am constantly finding more and more rot on it, and its driving me mad!
also, i want to change the loom to one from a diplomat or cdx, so that way i can have electric everything, aircon, anti lock brakes, and possibly traction control if i get a v6 donor cav etc etc.
i have decided that i am going to completely strip it a bare shell and rebuild the entire car. and i mean the lot. it will be a bare shell, no suspension, chassis the lot's coming off to be looked at and repaired if needed.
god rust is annoying!!! it just keeps appearing!! |

| Good work mate. Some bits aren't my cuppa tea...but fair play for somebody that describes themself as a novice mechanic you've done very well on your drive and garage.
Keep up the good work. |
