| "Project C20 NVA" Just thought i would start a little thread for the nova. The car started as a 1.4 sr (and still is really) but we have big plans for her. Just though i would put some pics up to show the state of it ! Then hopefully you should be able to see the progress, which should be quite rapid.

opel badges
cav gsi rims
We have chossen to go with kumho ecsta spt ku 31. Quite a few reveiws rate them as a really good summer tyre, good for track use |

| Shafts We have has a right old job finding shafts, so we decided to go for shortening the standard shafts and modding the bearing to fit in the nova hub. Only just got the e/q shaft back it was cut and rejoined (tig) in the original weld position.
E/Q shaft
The nice clean weld
The other shafts is being shortened still |

| Got a nice new gte rad to put in the sr.
Not sure on a fan yet tho. I will probally try to use a 2002 corsa fan. Got one at work and it seems quite thin, which is good.
Will need lots of strength to keep them billies in place !
Already half way through the Harry Hockley kit so these will be a nice addition to the engine bay. A/R bar spacers are in there to.
Will the bulkhead panel need any reinforcement when i cut the top section off ? |

| Mock up I was trial fitting the cage this morning so i thought i would have quick mock up. The cage is a 6 point OMP rollcage with door bars. I found a piece of metal to use as a strut brace, but im not sure where to mount it yet cause im mounting the harness's it so it cant be welded in !
Rear veiw
Tank and pump
Seat with harness
Both seats (not bolted in tho)
Engine is gone. Its now ready for the rest of the welding to be done.
Im going to do the car (in and out) in met blue, simalar to my coupe's colour of europa blue. The cage will be painted in met grey.
ALL PICS ARE CLICKY |
