im sure last LET i built cost about £300 in all new parts.

that was using ACL 780 bearings to, conversion set, head set, bolts, full cambelt kit, water pump etc

elring supply vauxhall i think, but ive used them plenty of times and had no problems.

cam wise anything over 264's (iirc) need pistons pocketing, unless your going aftermarket anyway, otherwise a machine shop can mill the pockets deeper for you to take bigger cams.

Today is the day! The rounded and "welded" bolt has been removed with the help of a grinder and a punch!

The next problem arose with the nut that it screwed into falling off and with the help of a neighbour, a magnet and some of his technical know how it was fixed, leading the way for me to change fit the carpet!!!

not very exciting but everyone loves a picture so here you are.

Quick hoover

new carpet not showing its true colour of ebony black

it would have been an optional extra so even though the wiring is there from the factory, unless the original owner who bought it from the dealer paid the extra to have the pass airbag fitted, it wont be there.

all airbag corsas have that extra plug, iirc you can fit the dash from a CDX and utilise the passenger airbag.

Re: My Corsa Gsi Project

Well its almost a year to the day since anything has been done/bought for the car due to a pain in my arse by the name of T****n.
However, the main reason being is that I have just started up my own business, www.alnwickceramics.com, website needs some work but havent had much time for it over xmas due to the usual procrastinating.

Got myself a new rebuilt xe with powercap, loom, ecu and all hoses. Got some shafts, inner and outer cvs and a couple of mounts from sparke.

I dont know exactly whats happening with her next although I know she will be on the road for July. Just deciding how far to go with her really !

Thinking about an f20 with quaiffe in the next month, also thinking about R1 carbs etc.

Any comments welcomed though Im sure there will be a few "Get ****** on with it lol"
