I got to ask you on what basis do you base that on?

The turbo can produce up against 690-700hp on regular fuel.
that has been confirmed many times.

and i´m running E85 and will probably stretch the capacity up against 700-720hp.
But i´m not saying i will reach that amount of power.
I´m happy with 600hp on 'low boost'

my calculations is that i´ll be in the area of 600hp at 1,6-1,7bar.
And the turbo is good for about 2.2bars before it runs out of effiency on my setup.

That dyno paper earlier in thead is equipped with an GT3582r too and produces 656hp at 1,85bar.
and calculated to reach 700 on 2.2bars.

Garrett speces their turbos low...........

Yeah thats my interpretations from the Garrett specs, and i'm sketchy on that too if truth be told.

one way to find out....rolling road printout, be better have an actual wheel hors power figure and not a flywheel number, as at end of day its about how many ponies are getting through the wheels

GT3520R .82 should see 400-600bhp.

What bar are you lookiing at running it at, as the specs look like it wont be any good unless it get 1.3 bar min.

You sure your looking at the right specs?
It'll do about 62lb/min which is probably a tad conservative considering a few have been ran up recently and nothced 697 and 701 on 2.4/2.5 bar.

Apparently the turbo i'm looking atm 3571r is most efficient at 1.4 bar, so i need to reread my graphs, i've missed something.

Yep thats about it, i've looked at so many i'd confused myself. I was looking at the 3571R, but was also looking at the 3582R, not only does it look like a better spec, it is oil and water cooled.

It´s the fuelpump you can see.
and i have a soultion for the cambeltcover.
I will make an 'spiess' coverplate between the pulleys.

Why not a elec pump then?
Do you massive amounts of pressure when using E85?

And on another note....the vaux txb setup(if not locked) has the fluid pump, accumulator and all the stuff to go with, does the toyota has a similar system? If not then what does it have?

I want the safety of an mechanical pump.
if engine stops, fuelpump stops.
and then it´s got massive capacity, i do not need to worry

The toyota gearbox have an mechanical centerdiff with an viscous coupling that 'brakes' it.
It´s got full 50/50 drive at all times.
But there are a small lever that changes between:
1 front wheel drive only
2 open centerdiff (4wd)
3 'braked' centerdiff(4wd)

the option number two is quite unuseful, as the moment can shift between front and rear.
But can be very useful if i upgrade the visco to brake even harder.

Not sure i'm liking the idea of a mechinical pump. With the electric pump it will only be on when the ignition is turned on, to pressurise, and then it will pump when it see's throttle/cold start map.

But this way prevents the pump from not recieving full voltage due to damaged/corroded ends, no place for a voltage drop.

you will only get damaged or corroded ends because the wires are old and tatty, im sure if he rebuilding a car like this, or any one would replace such wires with new items.

so is the alternator driven of that pulley are well??

And one more advantage of my pump setup to bear in mind:

There are no good quality pumps on the market that can produce the flow i´m after in a single setup.

this one flows a liiiiitle bit more than i need.. but who cares?

I would have thought a Bosch 044, 200LPH@5bar, would cut it though.

No a single 044 won´t keep up with my 1680cc injectors.
If you look at the pressure regulator, it´s an Aeromotive, this one has quite small outer measurements.
But can flow all the '2000hp' back to the fueltank.

The pipes will have to be 1/2" in inner diam too.

This might be a secret to high powerlevels..

DO NOT TAKE ANY CHANCES ON FUELSYSTEMS!

And as i´m running 'alcohol' as fuel i need ~40% extra capacity against petrol, i got to go big
