FECCCCKING ELL!!!! That Astra of mine is like my username.. INSANE!!!
Been out taking it for a run today, about 50 miles or so.
Ran a little bit fat on vaccumside above 2krpm, but was expected.
But boost.... dear god!!!,, the boost kicks in even harder this year..
i builded it to not do that..*lol*
Ran about 1.2bar of boost, that means about 550hp.
The semislicks couldn´t get any traction at all on 'cold' tarmac.
i´m really in the sky right now.. like an adrenaline rush.

well.. here are some values.
0.8 lamda
7000rpm
22 degree ignition
66% dutycycle on injectors..
this is almost unbelivable,, but it´s spot on target.
I aimed for about 280-290hp without boost.
It says 290hp!!!
This is why the car is so 'nervous'. it just spools when putting down the throttle about 1cm when cruising at 2000rpm,, WHAM!!!
and the tires spin on 1st and 2nd bouncing on revlimiter 7300rpm
I built it this way to minimize spool, but last setup was a little bit aggresive on tranny so i wanted to move the torque upwards in register,, seem to make no difference when spooling. it just slams in the torque..
wow it just taken me over 4 hours to read this and what a build i 2 have a mk1astra gte but in white untill some one stole it last november twats that was running a let engine but only stanard power that was enough for me so 700bhp will be mad m8 good work

As i figure it will take some time to sell the car, it´s not easy finding the right buyer that understands how much work has gone into this car.
And not to be forgotten, money!
the car will be in my ownership until the right money appears, so you can count on there will be some movies shot this summer.
But for now guys i´m off to Danmark for work in two weeks.

Well, you should have built on a mk2, then this car would have ended up in Halden=)
You'll never get offered the "right" money for it, so just break it and sell the bits separately. It's a Mk1 astra at the end of the day. Why on earth you're advertising it for sale having only just finished it baffles me!

Can you tell me how you connecting ring with opel bulbs? Is this welding?
I have got Opel Vectra (in Uk - cavalier), with 3s-gte engine and also gearbox... Now my work is still in garage.

there were before this mod an pipe insert = JUNK!!!
Now i did it the correct way.
first i drilled some holes
then i threaded them all the way down so the needed oilpassages would work.
then i screwed down an 'plug' with loctite for hydraulic sealing.
then i screwed down an std plug to seal.
this is were i reroute the oil: (will change to banjocouplings)
this would make a bulletproof mod for KS heads.

Do you have before pipe in this oil measure groove ? I instal bushing in this oil pipe and my car rides good.
