i have to brag a little with some info:
2bar boost
94% dutycycle between 6400rpm and 7800rpm with 1600cc injectors.
and i run Lambda 0.801 on E85 fuel..

did i tell you it´s insane??..

you need to flow twice as much e85 rob than petrol so thats still around 800cc in are speak

no not 100% more fuel than on gasoline.
only about 30% more actually.

i´ll see if i have time to fix the fanbelt tomorrow, then i´ll make some movies.. but i do not promise anything.

actually.. when building the engine i had my doubts all the way from start.
i have built a couple of engines through the days..
But in the latest years the numbers has rised to the skies.
and there arent many who had made this setup that i have done so it was breaking new ground for me, and for many others too i think.

well.. i have calculated things for the first time when building this engine.. i have overlooked everything like 20 times.
even with that i had some doubts..

but when started to map fuel and timing, i saw some kinky evolution.. the engine just kept on begging for more.. and ate a lot of fuel in quite low boost.. this means the engine have a good poweroutput in unboosted area..

that also means the engine is measuring up to all calculations.
but still.. almost little bit too good to be true.

my aim was about 230-240hp with no boost..
it seems like it´s more like 260-270hp.

one step in building this engine was also to beat cncheads in uk with theis bigvalve edition head..
i did that.. i guess it´s that who pays off now at the end =)

Hello I have got Vauxhall cavalier (opel vectra) 4x4. I change my c20xe on x30xe and also f20->f28.... Now I have got transfer box from cavalier turbo. I saw this Opel Vectra 4X4 donut http://pl.youtube.com/watch?v=Yvde-pHorXo. My transfer box will dead after 5 minutes this kind of driving. So i started looking for all 4x4 (gear box, transfer box, rear diff) from lancer EVO 6-7. I find your big extreme project..... Can you tell me -InsaneSwede what kind of mechanical 4x4 from celica You used 185 or 205 model. What kind of gear box ratio you used (maybe 4,285) ?

The car in the video uses a transfer box that has been substantially modified by Qrew, who is a member on here and has a Calibra.

unfortunatly a lashcap dislocated when pulling on 2nd gear.
but you can hear anyway there are some grunt in the good old opel

'hotdamn' i made a redneck solution to the problem.
i welded the lashcap onto the valve in the hydraulic tappet. *lol*

a lashcap is a little washer that you mount on top of valvestem. to get right measurements or save valve from get hammered out like an mushroom.

i did a little calculation too..
7800rpm in my Astra is 73.9Mph
and in the vid i hit revlimiter at 7800rpm on 2nd gear..

hehe.. i got fed up with the problem.
i tried to locate the problem but i couldn´t.

the cap has dislocated 8 times now, and every time the same cap.
and everytime in the same direction(against gearbox)

i tested the valvesprings = no problem
tested the clearence on valvestem = no problem.
