if you already use a 185 gearbox, why not go to the 205 box which has been proven good for 600 bhp in stock form, they use the same clutch arrangemnet and mate up in the same way as a 185 box

Actually it´s the same gearbox.
only thing that is uprated is the sync-rings.

it seems to be the incomingshaft-sealant that has broken.

The sealant is ok...

but now the bad news..
the trannyhousing has cracked due to hard torque between pinoin and crownwheel..



I promise you guys..
at 1.55bar and a hard dragrace start DO stress things *lol*
It seems that all is adding up.. already at 1.55bar there HUGE amount of power.
The turbo is already spooled at 3100rpm also.. you do the math on the torque through 2.3litre LET *evil*

after almost a whole summer i finally got it to work decent.
i hade problems with gearbox and some banging at 6400rpm.
i also started to renovate again on my house, so after that has been done i finally had some time over for my car.

this is a run at only 1.33bars of boost.

I use Audi coils, and i do not really understand 'maleplug'
plug as in plug..
male as in not female?
are you thinking about connectors to the coils?

Page 10 and 15 might answer your question. They are coil packs.

I used the whole loom from Audi and rerouted some of the cables and added a few.
in that way i got the connectors that fits to the coils.
The loom fit suprisingly good in my car even unmodifed.

sorry no film as it started to rain.. but i´m at 1.73Bar at the moment.... and GODDAMNNN!!!

the engine only reaches 1.4bar on 1st gear, it revs up to limit to fast.
when baning in 2nd... the car is totally posessed at 4500rpm..

it paints 4 black worms on the tarmac.... YEAH!!!!
and the tires aren´t bad either. it´s semislicks with the softest compound and 215mm wide.
and the temp in tires are around 50 degree celcius.

movie coming up as soon as i´ve done one.


but hey.. it doesn´t smoke and run totally crazy.. it´s just insane acceleration and four black worms...
0-60mph is about 2.7 seconds..

excellent build, love the engineering that you have put into your car.
