    Yes it´s standard Mahle pistons, The LET engine is equipped with some fine little fellas as standard. almost race ready ones..
    They can handle about ~600hp before i recomend shifting them.

    He is running Std inlet manifold with 'EDS' pressurepipe on the throttlebody.

    I don´t got any pics of engine as there aren´t much to see. *lol*
    but i got an piccie of the actual car.
    Swedens cleanest cally,,, *period* (no one else comes near)
    I mocked up a cally in photoshop for him. he fell in love and built one exactly like it.

    Why do you not take a standard manifold, remove the runners at the flange but leave the stock water pipe setup in place and then weld from that point back?

    looks great!
    can see why the water pipe is such a headache, SBD manifolds make it in two pieces, with a seperate pipe that bolts to a flange on the underneath of the lump off the back of the manifold, they might even do you the pipe seperately

    Patrick on the bottom of the mani...well on the entry into it, is that plate welded on one of those that............blows up/out should there be a nitrous fault? Or is there a much simpler explanation,lol?

    Is it not just a flat thick surface that can be tapped for vacuum pipes?

    Can I ask about that Cally, is turbo what he uses this; http://www.extremepsi.com/store/cust...roductid=17270 , and what are the proper specs for that?

    We are also building Kadett D LET with my girlfriend´s brother, and thinking what size of turbo we should have for 500hp from the crank. We are making about same kind of engine what that cally has.     Elbow is held on by 2 small m4 bolts (iirc) with a seal!

    That is correct.. we choosed to hide all the vaccum pipes underneeth for cleaner looks.

    Ofcourse you can.

    I´m running a slightly modified Z20let gasket with M12 headstuds (standard is M11)
    an another good combination is Cometic and Arp´s

    I use my mod as i wanted to test something new.(and cheaper)

    Yes.. that´s the one ,, SC44 we modded it just a little to make sure it keeps up with the work.
    The 360 bearing isn´t screwed tight when shipped, we fixed that.

    I´m sorry to say that i can´t understand a single word from finish.
    But it depends a little on what pricetag you are willing to pay.

    I should recomend a Garrett GT 3071R for maximal spool etc etc.
    but otherwise this SC44 can do the job, but it is at it´s very last breath.
    Maybe if you go Ethanol fuel it can pump this amount of power all day long.
    But on fuel i would recomend a turbo with bigger Turbine, the compressor in SC44 does the job. but the turbine is restrictive.

    this wekkend thou,, i haven´t done much on the car.
    I have to set the house ready for a long hard and cold winter.
    But i have cranked the engine to get oilpressure, worked as a charm.

    A tip fory you guys if you want higher flow in oilfilter.
    Use from Chevrolet with 'vortech' V6 engine -99
    This one fits directly but have a bigger filterarea and volume.

    And got my self a run in a friends Audi S2 that i have modified the head in.
    656hp and ~700Nm+ is one hell of a beast to run around in the streets.
    locked middlediff and rear diff the car went crazy at 1.9bar..
    Heck.. we were all over the street....
